• Upcoming Launch of the SCW Learning Management System: The formal launch of our new online Learning Management System (LMS) is planned for December, but we will provide a preview during the SCW Update at the WSS Virtual Annual Meeting. The LMS will provide all SCW members with a personalized dashboard to access performance reports, view initiative specific materials, and interact with colleagues through discussion boards and an online chat feature. We are excited by the possibilities for virtual engagement and collaboration provided by the LMS, especially when in-person meetings are limited. Please stay tuned for more details!
• Improvements to SCW Data Platform and Performance Reports: We look forward to distributing updated performance reports for the breast and colorectal surgery initiatives at the WSS Virtual Annual Meeting. These reports feature additional quality measures and details based on feedback we received from members over the past year. In addition, for the first time, we will distribute performance reports specifically designed for low-volume providers and hospitals who were unable to receive them in the past due to sample size. Performance reports will be distributed to members through the new online LMS. We continue to work closely with our two data partners, the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) and the Wisconsin Health Information Organization (WHIO) to provide timely and actionable performance reports. In addition, we are pursuing new data sources as well as possibilities for automated data reporting based on electronic health record data.
