It’s Been Five Years!
This year marks the 5th anniversary of the first meeting of the Surgical Collaborative of Wisconsin! In July 2018, we gathered at Gundersen Health System for our first member meeting. Our newly formed Executive Committee led strategy discussions for the success of SCW, we debuted and distributed our first round of performance reports, and we concluded the day with initiative specific breakout sessions.
State Budget Grant Update
Over the past year, SCW has been in partnership with the Wisconsin Surgical Society (WSS) to support surgeons through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. This partnership was made possible through funding from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
SCW 2023 Summer Meeting
The Surgical Collaborative of Wisconsin is hosting a Summer Meeting August 4-5, 2023 at the Heidel House and Conference Center in Green Lake, WI. Registration will open in April.

Colonoscopy Webinar
The webinar “Approaches for Improving Colonoscopy Quality” is now ready to be viewed on the Learning Management System! The 90-minute session led by Dr. Jill Ties is approved for 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
Opioid Prescribing Module
The Opioid Prescribing CME Module Course is intended to serve as a comprehensive guide for acute pain management and opioid stewardship by a surgical prescriber. The webinar is approved for 3 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
