New Addition to the SCW Team!
Dan Pung joined the Surgical Collaborative of Wisconsin as a Project Manager in December of 2021. He will provide planning, execution, and monitoring of member initiatives in support of SCW. This will include quality improvement initiatives, member meetings, and statewide surgeon / hospital engagement.
Opioid CME Module
We are excited to announce that our course on A Surgical Prescriber’s Guide for Acute Pain Management and Opioid Stewardship will be available to SCW members through our Learning Management System on March 1st!

Dr. Day 2020 Recap
Wisconsin Dr Day was held virtually on February 8 , 2022. Over 200 providers took part in the event that featured a variety of presentations. Highlights included an update from the Chair of the Medical Examining Board and a Wisconsin focused policy and politics legislative panel. In addition, there was a legal update that covered the following legislation:
- No Surprises Act
- Scope of practices with optometrists
- Vaccine mandates
- Update on Roe vs Wade activities
